Collections Manager

Cornerstone Resources is recruiting for a Loss Mitigation & Asset Recovery Manager in Union County, New Jersey.
This position will ensure that the loss mitigation & asset recovery policies and procedures of the credit union best serve the institution and its members.
Their essential duties include ensuring strict compliance with state and federal collection rules and regulations in all collection practices; assigning, monitoring, and supervising the department's workload to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work; establishing and monitoring effective control procedures for delinquent and potentially delinquent loans; communicating and monitoring requirements to vendors and staff on an ongoing basis.
The successful candidate will possess at least 3 years' supervisory experience within a financial institution, a minimum of 5 years' progressive collections experience handling all types of consumer loans, experience in mortgage and commercial lending, and a collaborative spirit.
