Portfolio Manager As the Portfolio Manager, you will improve the company's risk position through active account management. This position will develop and maintain customer (manufacturer, vendor, distributor, dealer, and end user) relationships that will ensure profitable growth through a quality portfolio within an assigned geographical territory (New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, and Rhode Island). This is a very autonomous role (you can be based anywhere in New England) which will require a self-starter who can manage time and priorities well with a focus on results.

Day to Day Travel intensive: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine and Rhode IslandMaintain positive relationships with manufactures, vendors, distributors, dealers, and end users through regular interaction and sight visitsManagement of past due accounts which require assistance from the field for problem resolution (such activities will be coordinated with the collections staff)Protect company assets through prompt actions regarding retail and wholesale collectionDevelop and implement action plans to limit delinquency and risk costsMeet with customers to resolve past due accountsDraw up final notice and consequencesDefine payment plans for debtorsContinue collection in case of litigation or bankruptcyCoordinate and/or conduct repossessions with applicable policies, procedures, and regulationsWork with dealers to develop repayment terms on recourse obligationsConduct and/or coordinate field audits per policyProper handling of off-lot unitsCollection of proceeds on sold unitsAll members enjoy Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.Flexible hours with possibility to work from homeCareer development opportunities: online learning, member development programs.Check this link to an overview of all benefits in your region. Essentials Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 2 years of experience in the field of collections management preferredBusiness economics knowledge ideally (products, insolvency, bankruptcy)Experience and knowledge in the leasing and finance sector preferredNegotiating skillsOperates and thinks within procedures and precedentsMust have the ability to lift 10lbs, sit and work at a computer for extensive periods of time, communicate both orally and written.Must demonstrate a high degree of attention and quality, details, correctness and deadlines.A motor vehicle driving record that would allow for the operation of a company vehicleAbility to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlinesA military or law enforcement background would be of real interestWeekly regional travel requiredRegional travel required. Applicable Pay Range $64,172.83- $96,259.25
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
