Job Title: Commercial energy Broker Qualifications
•Sales experience is highly recommended, and experience in retail energy would be ideal but not required
•Business-to-Business experience and comfortable speaking with C-Level Executives
•Competitive, motivated, self-starter with a positive winning attitude.
Assertive approach with a strong non-aggressive persuasive etiquette.

•Detailed individual who understands the importance of follow-through and accurate documentation.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Excellent time management and organizational skills.

•Never shoot for the status quo
•Must have a valid driver's license.

Essential Duties
•Build trusting relationships with new and prospective commercial clients for electricity procurement opportunities in Texas energy deregulated markets (primarily: DFW & Houston)
•Establish contact and email address of at least 10 decision makers per day responsible for managing and signing current and future electricity contracts.

•Identify the end date of current electricity contracts & when they start entertaining new options of at least 5 prospects per day
•At least 50 quality cold calls in the field and/or over the phone to generate new opportunities.

•Follow up on all opportunities to fill a pipeline through a note taking system.

•Team participation to create and maintain client relationships and grow the business.

•Report sales performance and customer feedback to Management.

•Attending industry events and conferences to network and boost brand visibility.

•Other responsibilities or projects assigned by the Manager.
