Job Title: Commercial Escrow Assistant Pay: $21.50/hourly Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite) Job Description: Responsible for assisting Escrow Officers/Title Officers with coordinating, managing, and closing national commercial real estate transactions ranging from single site to high-liability, multi-site commercial real estate transactions. Compile documents, track a resolution of title comments and surveys, underwriting requests, post-closing functions, including supervising the timely recording of transaction documents. Assist in the escrow process for simple and complex commercial transactions such as preparing documents for closing, inputting closing statement information, and handling disbursement and follow-up Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process; adapts communication style as needed Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings Work with innovative technologies to enable escrow transactions and communicates with customers to provide a phenomenal customer experience Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of Administrative/Clerical/Office experience Proficiency with scanners, and general clerical tasks Ability to follow instructions and office procedures Cash/check handling experience preferred but not required On-boarding Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Criminal Background & Drug Screening 2 verifiable employment references
