Commercial Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator to join our team and handle cost estimates for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Commercial Construction.  This role will be responsible for developing accurate estimates of materials, labor, and other costs associated with the projects.
Position Overview: Analyze drawings, specs, and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates Conduct material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, and other costs Identify alternative solutions to reduce project costs Create reports and present to stakeholders Perform material and labor cost analysis Stay current with industry trends and changes Key Responsibilities: Develop cost estimates for construction projects Manage bid day activities and review bids Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Prepare quantity takeoffs and analyze labor costs Prepare project cost reports and present to stakeholders Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors Identify potential cost savings opportunities Stay current with industry trends and changes Qualifications: Proven experience as an Estimator in the Commercial, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Hospital sectors Excellent knowledge of material takeoffs, labor costs, and equipment costs Proficiency in Bluebeam and Autodesk software Highly organized with strong attention to detail Problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work with tight deadlines Benefits Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life & Disability Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching Employee Stock Ownership Plan Employee Assistance Program Education Assistance Generous Employee Referral Program Staying Fit - on site gym Holidays Paid Time Off Appreciation pay (up to 2 bonuses a year) Team building events Holiday and seasonal parties Training, mentorship and career advancements Transparent management with high levels of engagement and communication Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
