JOB SUMMARY: Provide leadership and accountability for the efficient, safe, and profitable production of enhancement projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, or at least 5 years related work experienceLicense or Certification As required by state and federal lawValid driver license issued by the state where employedCommercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 yearSpecialized Skills Experience working with commercial property managers a plusEffective oral and written communicationFamiliarity with the safe operation of commercial landscape equipment and toolsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule formatKnowledge on reading blueprints requiredIntermediate math skills, with the ability to calculate figures such as area and volumeAbility to read, write and comprehend English; bilingual in Spanish preferredAbility to speak effectively before employees and clientsIntermediate experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or ProLandscapeIntermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookOrganizational and time management skills necessary to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walkMust be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focusFrequent use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controlsFrequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and balanceOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 75 poundsWorking Conditions Occasionally works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditionsOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicalsOccasionally exposed to loud noise levelsESSENTIAL DUTIES Oversee the scheduling of daily work, assignment of daily tasks to Enhancement production staff and ensure timely completion.Ensure timely and effective communication with Project Managers on all current and future enhancement projectsAssist with bid preparation and designAnalyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to contract projectsPrepare monthly forecast of labor and materials, and accurate job costing of work ordersMeet or exceed budget line itemsDevelop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring accountability and quality for priceAdd and update client and project information in CRM softwareEffectively communicate with management and production teams the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high-quality product for clientsProvide accurate administration of paperwork elements, including timecards, job costing, billing, and new employee paperwork.Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employeesConstantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practicesIndirect supervision of 4-6 Enhancement Crews, Direct supervision of 1-4 Production ManagersTraining, planning, assigning, and directing workProblem resolutionResponsible for creating contemporaneous, prompt, and thorough documentation of all coaching, conversations, counseling, and performance management discussions with employees.Oversee and direct performance management programs, including reviews, progressive discipline, and conflict resolutionConduct monthly safety meetingsOther duties as assignedTotal Rewards At Monarch, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain top talent.
