Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for an Account Executive for our Commercial Lines team in Grand Rapids, MI . In this role, you will handle all client matters with regards to preparation of marketing proposals and renewal material for potentially new accounts and existing Agency accounts in the Commercial Lines department.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Work with Commercial Lines Leader and Producers to ensure completion of all renewals, including meeting attendance.
Manage renewal process in obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers.
Conduct and assemble in draft and final form all accurate marketing proposals.
Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena.
Daily contact with insurance carriers.
Manage inquiries and complaints regarding carrier claims resolution and act as liaison on behalf of assigned accounts to intervene with delays in claim processing.
Investigate research and provide timely responses to all clients.
Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource.
Attend all departmental service meetings.
Assist with training of new Producers and Group marketing Representatives.
Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
Support training, development, and mentorship of team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or extensive marketing experience.
5+ years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level is preferred.
Must have extensive computer knowledge in a Windows environment, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
MI Property & Casualty License required.
4-year college degree (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
