I am looking for a Commercial Banker that is well conncted in the market! Ag background a plus. Description of Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations: Analyzes loan data reports for any corrective action. Examines, evaluates, authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for commercial loans and lines of credit. Reviews periodically for required updated financial information and field visits Develops and implements new products; reviews loan pricing/fees and recommends changes; develops, revises and consolidates bank lending policy; ensures resolution of department computer system issues. Serves as resource to subordinates commercial lenders for various lending issues; Performs commercial loan activities for personal base of customers; review key/critical lender loans; presents commercial loans to loan committee. Directs, develops, trains, motivates, hires and disciplines subordinate lending personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. Develops procedural changes as compliance requires or new programs demand. To ensure the lending department is providing friendly, professional, timely, personal service to all customers. To maintain cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet the daily operational needs of the lending department. To insure the department meets its goals to maintain delinquency at or below the established percent of loans outstanding; maintain a charge-off rate of not more than the established guidelines; to ensure asset quality of total bank loan portfolio is maintained; to ensure fees on loans are collected at established minimums. To insure that lending operations are in accordance with established Bank policy and are legally compliant. To note observations of employee performance into appropriate reporting tools, as well as, give to and receive feedback from subordinate staff on the same as soon as possible after incident. To complete fair and accurate performance reviews within the prescribed time frame. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: At least 5 years of combined credit underwriting, lending, business development and sales experience. A college degree generally in finance, accounting and/or banking or equivalent work experience in the banking industry.  The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job. Must have extensive knowledge of commercial lending practices and procedures. Strong knowledge in analyzing business financial statements and assessing the viability of businesses; must have excellent communication and PR skills; Demonstrated proficiency at intermediate level of sales skills and abilities for developing new business customer relationship.
