As a Commercial Loan Specialist, you will support, close and administer commercial and SBA loans and lines for the Commercial Banking Centers.
\n In this role you'll have the opportunity to:Support Commercial Banking Centers lending function via Capitalstream including loan support through boarding including the perfection of collateral.Coordinate with relationship managers, Credit Utility Center underwriters (CBC Only), borrowers, title officers and other third parties as dictated by transaction. Order external reports related to specific loan products as required.Prepare commitment letters. Arrange for payoff of prior liens. Coordinate loan closings and prepare disbursements.Responsible for verifying loan system accuracy for boarded loans. Responsible for ensuring each loan file meets bank and regulatory requirements.Provide service to lending specialty banking and SBA lending units. Education & CertificationsH.S. Diploma required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Experience0 to 2 years of commercial loan support experience required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of state and regulatory requirements pertaining to commercial lending. Understanding of Municpal, SBA and syndication lending and ability to coordinate with specialty groups effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce accurate work in a deadline driven environment. Ability to identify document errors and make corrections, while staying within the confines of the credit approval. Proficient in Microsoft Office, loan origination systems and other programs needed to support commercial banking. Ability to perform peer review of loan files with accuracy and attention to detail prior to documentation and post boarding file review. Ability to cover other Commercial Banking Centers as required.
