Commercial Planning Manager

Nestlé NZ has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Planning Manager to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover.

As the Commercial Planning Manager, you will report to the Head of Commercial Planning & Sales and be responsible for driving the Monthly Business Planning process to ensure the delivery of quality business plans that meet BU targets. You will collaborate with all support functions, particularly Decision Support, to provide financial guidance and assistance to support decision-making.
In addition, you will support the implementation of governance principles and internal controls, and drive the delivery of F&C policy and guidelines.

Provide key support to D&SP to enable the single source of forecast and capture of activity assumptions.Lead sales gap management plans to close Category and Sales gaps to target.Ensure low stocks are effectively allocated to Sales and facilitate the clearance of aged stock.Daily and weekly sales reporting providing a view of current performance.Monitor and review the promotional performance against targets.Provide recommendations to Category & Sales teams to improve ROI.Communicate and facilitate the execution of price increases/decreases between Category and Sales teams.Proactively manage profit and loss versus target.Support new business initiatives: contribute to strategic modelling and reviews.At Nestlé, you can make a difference to millions of lives, every single day. What will make you successful… You possess strong commercial insight and strategic sales experience within an FMCG environment and have a proven capacity to effectively deliver results while exceeding expectations.You will be a natural collaborator with a strong proactive mind-set and be able to influence those around you to drive your account growth.You will have excellent presentation and effective communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to achieve beneficial commercial outcomes.2 or more years of commercial experience within Finance and/or Category or SalesTertiary qualified in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.High level of computer literacy and analytical horsepower.Full New Zealand working rights and applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
