This 15-month contract role will be the perfect opportunity for you to be part of an exciting team and a dynamic, world-class Consumer Packaged Goods and Dairy Manufacturing company.
About the role Reporting to the Senior Customer Category Manager, you will: Be a specialized user within the Trade Spend & Promotional Planning system; providing support across the sales organization relating to inputs and reconciliations as well as support the assessment of promotional trade spend to help drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in the coordination and management of Point of Sale (POS) programs, including acting as a key liaison to the Field Sales Representatives regarding promotional planning.Participate in updating and maintaining the accuracy of internal and external forms and lists, including customer portals relating to listings, pricing, promotions, and other related records.Support dissemination of product specification information as well as other daily business requirements, while ensuring the effective and timely coordination of information flowing back to the organization.Provide support in the development and coordination of product information guides and associated sell sheets, as well as digital assets.Support the development of Customer Business Reviews, utilizing multiple sources of data and direction.Produce scheduled and ad hoc sales reports to assist in decision-making processes, utilizing internal data as well as syndicated data.Participate in the planning and organization of Trade Shows.Participate and support other special projects and tasks as required.Who are you? You will have at least two years of experience working in a commercial environment – working with TPM/TPO tools and planning in-store POS and sampling activities. You will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a business, marketing, or equivalent field, and you will have a high degree of aptitude with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite programs. Experience with Power BI and SAP will be an advantage as well.
With a demonstrated passion for Sales, your proactive personality allows you to take the lead on key initiatives; enabling your success in the fast-paced environment of a Tier 1 CPG organization. Your experience will also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, which have enabled you to work successfully with cross-functional teams.
