My client is seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions. Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, control diagrams, and software programs. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff on control systems and automation equipment. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and control systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all control system activities. Analyze data and generate reports on control system performance, identifying areas for improvement. Adhere to 5S standards and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a Manufacturing environment. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI Development. Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus). Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDs. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems. Competencies/ Skills: Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to control systems and automation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
