This role focuses on the procurement of specific commodities, ensuring cost-effective and reliable sourcing while managing supplier relationships and market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Conduct research to identify suppliers and develop cost-saving strategies for key commodities. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and build relationships with suppliers, addressing quality concerns and performance issues. Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and secure favorable agreements. Cost Optimization: Monitor market trends and commodity prices to identify cost-saving opportunities. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the commodity supply chain. Contract Management: Assist in drafting and managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance. Quality Assurance: Work with quality control teams to ensure supplier compliance with standards.
