Position Title: Communications and Social Media Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Communications and Social Media Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Science Writer to spearhead our communications efforts at our company. Your primary focus will be crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience, enhances brand recognition, and drives engagement across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in tandem with the Science Writer to develop captivating press releases, customer kits, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
Cultivate a robust online presence for our brand by implementing effective social media marketing strategies.
Oversee relationships with earned and paid media partners.
Devise and execute communication strategies aimed at fostering customer loyalty, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compile detailed reports on media activities to gauge effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Coordinate the design, content creation, and production of marketing materials.
Collaborate with leaders in the Commercial team to brainstorm innovative marketing initiatives.
Partner with Sales and Product teams to support in-market campaigns and initiatives.
Provide supervision and guidance to ensure all content meets publication standards.
Develop communication and marketing strategies for product launches, events, and promotions.
Address communication-related issues promptly and effectively.
Conduct training sessions to empower colleagues to utilize social media effectively and cohesively.
Engage in online conversations with customers and promptly respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success.
Proven ability to create targeted and engaging content.
Strong understanding of communication principles and techniques.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in AgTech and/or startup environments is highly desirable.
