Job Description:
S&P Global is seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives to effectively convey the company's message to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a candidate with at least 4 years of experience in communications and a passion for storytelling and brand advocacy.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to drive engagement with key audiences- Write and edit content for various communication channels, including internal newsletters, press releases, social media posts, and website updates- Coordinate media relations efforts by pitching stories to journalists and responding to media inquiries- Manage the company's social media presence and monitor online conversations to maintain a positive brand image- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all platforms- Analyze communication metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communications to enhance the company's communication strategies
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field- 4+ years of experience in communications or a related field- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Experience with social media management and content creation- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in fast-paced environments- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software tools- Adaptable personality and passionate about storytelling- Strong decision-making and analytical skills
