Communications Specialist - Work From Home

Job Description:

W.R. Berkley is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team on a part-time, work-from-home basis in Chicago, Illinois. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required, but we are looking for individuals who are resourceful and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to effectively convey the company's messages- Write and edit content for internal and external communications, including articles, newsletters, press releases, and social media posts- Coordinate with various departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for communication- Assist in the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other promotional activities- Analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns- Create presentations and reports to present findings to key stakeholders

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Presentation skills- Resourceful and adaptable in a changing environment
