Job Title: Community Marketing Specialist Department: 77 Administrative Reports To: Executive Vice President FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Prepared By: Administrative Services Salary Range: $22 - $26 per hour Summary: The Community Marketing Specialist develops messages to inform, educate, and engage current or potential customers about events, products, and services.
They coordinate the creation of promotional materials following Brand Guidelines and produce localized marketing content distributed through newspapers, radio, social media, and other channels to boost brand awareness and promote products and services.
The Community Marketing Specialist is required to attend community events and initiatives and assist with their planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Actively participate in community events and planning; Day travel is required.
Uphold and consistently incorporate the company Brand in all creative processes.
Develop and refine marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Coordinate and align campaigns with departmental activities.
Create and publish marketing materials according to marketing plans.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns.
Oversee and optimize lead generation campaigns.
Prepare and manage online and print marketing initiatives.
Develop diverse marketing materials to be applied across various platforms.
Collaborate with design agencies and support new product launches.
Represent the Brand professionally, consistently, and passionately.
Produce a quarterly newsletter.
Maintain a basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, and compliance requirements.
Manage digital boards and lobby TV advertisements across locations.
Oversee social media accounts and related content.
Organize and manage photo presentations.
Note: Job duties may be adjusted by the employer based on evolving organizational needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will manage processes not people.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.
A.)
from four-year College or university; or at least three years of prior experience developing strategic communications in a business-to-business or business-to-consumer environment.
Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts.
Portray excellent verbal communications skills to work effectively with both vendors and team members.
Health Benefits: Prospect Bank offers a choice of two plans and provides an allowance of $1,400.00 per month toward the cost of employee coverage.
In 2025, the monthly allowance covers the cost of both plans.
Plan 1 has a $35 excess that can be contributed to a FSA.
Plan 2 has a $358 excess that can be contributed to a FSA or HSA.
