Community Support Worker

Requirements

- Customer service or sales experience is an asset
- A valid BC driver's license and a clean driving record
- Valid First Aid / CPR certification
- Experience in personal support, positive attitude, empathy, willingness to learn, problem solving, attention to detail an asset

Duties

- Criminal record search and first aid - that the expense will be covered by the organization if necessary
- Direct supervision of adults with disabilities in a variety of locations and programs
- Work within a team to organize and implement programs
- Occasionally required to drive company vehicles to transport individuals and/or pick up supplies
- The most successful people for this job get joy from helping others
- Must provide proof of COVID vaccinations as per Public Health Officer directive
