Overview & Responsibilities Job Summary
The Compensation and Global Mobility Specialist is a dual role responsible for administering the company's compensation programs, and overseeing international assignments, relocations, and expatriate management.
Job Duties Compensation Facilitate the research, design, analysis and administration of global compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and make data driven recommendations that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners to complete job evaluations for new or updated jobs using the Hay Group Guide Chart-Profile Method.
Utilize third party data to complete annual updates to salary ranges for service shop production roles for all global locations.
Contribute to established compensation surveys and/or develop and implement custom surveys as appropriate.
Maintain comprehensive job description and job evaluation databases.
Assist and collaborate in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review program.
Prepare and present training and instructional materials on company compensation policies and practices.
Global Mobility Manage all aspects of global mobility programs including international assignments, relocations, and expatriate management.
Prepare and maintain expatriate compensation packages in partnership with regional and parent company HR.
Coordinate and support employee relocations, both domestic and international, ensuring smooth transitions.
Administer global mobility policies, including housing, relocation assistance, travel, tax, and immigration coordination with external vendors.
Support non-expatriate immigration efforts including visa applications, renewals, work permits, and permanent residency applications.
Provide guidance to employees and management on immigration policies and procedures.
Support employees and their families during relocation and provide assistance in navigating immigration paperwork and timelines.
Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in compensation and/or global mobility management.
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in HRIS and compensation tools.
Advanced MS Excel skills related to data compilation and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Training and experience with the Hay Group Guide Chart-Profile Method for job evaluation.
Global compensation management experience.
Global mobility management experience.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification Workday HRIS experience.
