Job ResponsibilitiesThe Completions Engineer will serve as an integral member of the Drilling & Completions team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Work with Seneca's technical personnel to design and execute the optimal completions programExecution and supervision of completions operations including, but not limited to, prep, hydraulic fracturing, wireline, plug drill out, and workoverWork as an onsite supervisor supporting Seneca completions operationsCreate AFE's and assist with cost tracking, both field and actual, through the life of the wellPrepare required pre-well documents and necessary notifications for each wellEnsure accuracy of electronic well files including daily WellView ReportsReview completions related invoices as part of the invoice approval processAnalyze well performance and recommend improvements to optimize completions efficienciesAssist foremen with moves and setup of the locationsPractice and promote the continued development of Seneca's operational "Best Practices"Participate in training, as determined by management, to expand knowledge in discipline and areas of responsibilityRequires a minimum 50% of the time to be spent in the fieldComply with Seneca's EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programsJob QualificationsPossess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(2) years of related industry experience is preferredA strong understanding of horizontal completions in the Marcellus and Utica is preferredBasic Microsoft proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is requiredProficiency in WellView is preferredAbility to work well in team environment is criticalStrong written and verbal communication skills are essentialA high level of accuracy and attention to detail is importantThe successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America with a valid driver's license with no restrictions to operate a company vehicle.
Seneca Resources offers a competitive salary, hybrid work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is not eligible for relocation.
