VVater seeks an experienced and knowledgeable Regulatory Compliance and Certification Manager to lead and manage all regulatory approvals, applications, and certification processes for our diverse products and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Aquatics, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Direct Potable Reuse, Oil & Gas, Agricultural, Food & Beverage, Construction & Infrastructure, Mechanical & Industrial, and Health & Safety. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex regulatory landscapes, ensure adherence to industry benchmarks, and drive certification processes with agencies like NSF, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, ASME, ASSE, UL, and IAEI.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all regulatory approval processes, ensuring full compliance with local, state, national, and international regulations related to water treatment, mechanical systems, industrial processes, water treatment, water purification, and other relevant fields.Develop and submit comprehensive regulatory applications for certifications, including but not limited to NSF, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, ASME, ASSE, UL, and IAEI, ensuring that all products meet industry benchmarks and best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and review technical documentation and data required for regulatory submissions and certifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Liaise with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to facilitate approvals, address inquiries, and maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations.Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices across relevant sectors, including Aquatics, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Oil & Gas, Agricultural, Food & Beverage, Construction & Infrastructure, Mechanical & Industrial, and Health & Safety.Lead efforts to obtain, maintain, and renew certifications for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with the latest regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all regulatory and certification documents, ensuring that records are up-to-date, easily accessible, and fully compliant with audit requirements.Provide expert guidance to internal teams on regulatory and certification matters, including advice on design for compliance, risk management, and the integration of industry best practices into product development and operational processes.Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and certification standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and meetings with regulatory bodies to stay informed of the latest developments, network with key stakeholders, and advocate for the company's interests.Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and agility of the regulatory and certification processes, incorporating industry best practices and technological advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in regulatory affairs, quality management, or related disciplines are preferred.Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, certification processes, and approvals across multiple industries, including Aquatics, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Direct Potable Reuse, Oil & Gas, Agricultural, Food & Beverage, Construction & Infrastructure, Mechanical & Industrial, and Health & Safety.In-depth knowledge of standards and certification processes from organizations such as NSF, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, ASME, ASSE, UL, IAEI, and other relevant bodies.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices at local, state, national, and international levels.Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects and meet critical deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and internal stakeholders.High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a collaborative and results-driven environment.Proficiency in regulatory compliance software, data management systems, and Microsoft Systems. **As a part of our recruitment process, assessment tests are required to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of all applicants.
