Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer (CO) to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing, implementing, and administering our Compliance Management program and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) program. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing administrative, lending, deposit, mortgage, and operational compliance activities while collaborating closely with the Chief Operations Officer and management to ensure adherence to regulatory directives across all areas of our traditional and non-traditional lines of business.
As our Compliance Officer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our Chief Operations Officer, Board of Directors, and senior management, providing insights into emerging compliance issues and guiding the establishment of robust controls to mitigate risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer all aspects of the bank's Compliance Management and BSA programs.
- Oversee day-to-day compliance activities, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to bank personnel on compliance-related matters.
- Collaborate with management to address compliance challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five years of experience in bank compliance, with expertise in mortgage, commercial, deposit, and consumer lending compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely with occasional onsite presence at our corporate office in Florence, WI.
