We are seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to assist in managing our ethics and compliance programme in the market. The successful candidate will assist in designing, implementing, and managing an effective compliance program to prevent, detect, and respond to potential violations of law, regulation, and/or company policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and controlsConduct risk assessments and assist in mitigating ethics and compliance risksReview and update policies and procedures to reflect changes in laws and regulationsProvide training and communications to raise awareness about regulatory requirements and ethical standardsCoordinate corrective actions resulting from audits, risk assessments, or raised concernsProvide legal and regulatory advice to stakeholders on ethics and compliance mattersMonitor and interpret relevant legislation, guidance, and industry standardsAnalyze the impact of legislative changes on company operations and servicesFacilitate a culture of ethics and compliance, and conduct internal investigationsBuild positive working relationships with other control functions and business leadership.Academic Qualifications and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (minimum); postgraduate degree or law degree (preferred)At least 5 years of experience in law, compliance, internal audit, or governanceExcellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multilingual, international environmentProactive and highly organized approach to managing multiple prioritiesConfident and diplomatic approach, with strong professionalismAdvanced negotiation and conflict management skillsFunctional Skills and Abilities: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent business relationship-building skillsCustomer-focusedExcellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skillsDetail-orientedAutonomousService-drivenFlexible and adaptableDISCLAIMER: This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
