Description Job Title: Grants Compliance Manager Summary:
The Family Place is seeking a dedicated Grants Compliance Manager to oversee the full cycle of grant reporting and compliance for both government and private grants.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization adheres to the highest standards of compliance and accountability, contributing to the effective delivery of our victim service programs.
The Grants Compliance Manager will collaborate closely with finance, development, and program teams to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient management of grants, from pre-award preparation to post-award reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Grant Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive and accurate reports for government and private grants, including ad hoc reports for victim service programs, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring internal and external compliance for all grants, utilizing established tools and best practices.
Data Management: Identify and address gaps in data collection; maintain organized and complete grant files, including proposals, contracts, reports, and closeout documentation.
Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documents for audits, including redacting personal identifying information as necessary.
File Management: Manage archived files, coordinate record retrieval, and oversee the annual document destruction process.
Support for Grant Submissions: Gather necessary materials and data for grant submissions, supporting the development team as needed.
Training and Development: Attend relevant trainings, webinars, and meetings to stay updated on grant compliance requirements.
Communication: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders using diplomacy and tact, ensuring clarity and transparency in all grant-related matters.
Other Duties: Maintains current professional knowledge of domestic violence and crisis theory, including assessment of danger.
Maintains business casual attire.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Texas Driver's License and clear driving record
Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice and/or related human services field preferred.
Education: A college degree is required, with a preference for candidates with relevant coursework in business, finance, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in grant management, statistical data, or program reporting is required, with at least two years in a professional setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Acrobat is required.
Strong computer and internet skills are essential.
Time Management: Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities, stay focused, and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries from staff and management.
Work Schedule: Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Sensitivity: A strong sensitivity to issues of domestic violence and a commitment to supporting our mission.
Other Requirements: A valid Texas Driver's License and proof of auto liability insurance are required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with frequent standing, reaching, walking, and prolonged sitting and telephone contact.
Mental and Physical Duties: Must have emotional and physical stamina to tolerate prolonged sitting or standing to deal with a variety of stressful situations, including responses to complaints, difficult requests from programs and individuals in crisis, and internal and external interactions, to effectively work long and odd hours, while maintaining a sense of humor and composure.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing to interact with children and clients.
Ability to answer multiple telephone lines and speak and listen clearly to the caller.
Duties are usually performed seated.
Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)

Working Conditions: Work may be performed in an office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like but not limited to the office environment.
