Compliance Manager

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Manager focused on ensuring compliance with all aspects of employee onboarding.
The ideal candidate will oversee the onboarding process, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.
Must have experience in multi-state compliance.

Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all onboarding processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including employment laws, wage and hour laws, and industry-specific requirements.
Onboarding Process Management: Develop, implement, and oversee the employee onboarding process.
Ensure all new hires complete the necessary documentation and training.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of employee onboarding documentation.
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.
Training and Education: Educate new hires on compliance policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing training for HR staff on regulatory changes and best practices.
Audit and Review: Conduct regular audits of onboarding processes and records to ensure compliance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Policy Development: Develop and update onboarding policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and company practices.
Ensure policies are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
Coordination with HR and Legal Teams: Work closely with HR and legal teams to address compliance issues and ensure alignment with overall company policies and objectives.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with background check providers and other third-party vendors involved in the onboarding process.
Ensure vendor compliance with relevant regulations.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for new hires regarding compliance-related questions and concerns.
Provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations.
Recommend and implement improvements to the onboarding process to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in compliance, HR, or a related field with a focus on employee onboarding.
Experience in payroll and staffing is required.
