Description
Under the supervision of the General Manager and Concessions Lead, the purpose of this position is to provide bar service before events, during intermission and as requested at event rentals, private gatherings, and the upstairs lounge area.
The Concessions/Bartender is responsible for knowledge of drink recipes and preparing garnish and setting up a bar before events and theater shows.
*Applications to be reviewed on an as needed basis. Examples of Duties Assists Concessions crew in areas including, but not limited to, bar set-up, drink and food preparation, and clean-up.Acts on behalf of the Center to provide professional service, including activities such as greeting patrons/clients, and preparing drinks as requested.Communicates with Concessions Lead effectively and frequently during events.Escalates patron disputes over concessions or bar purchases or event rentals to the Concessions Lead or General Manager.Sets up the bar and/or concession stand before each event and breaks down accordingly.Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment for patrons and employees.Performs related work as required. Typical Qualifications High school diploma or GED; supplemented by minimum six (6) months customer service in Theater, Bartending, or customer related service and cash handling experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Concession / Food Service experience preferred.TIPS Certified or similar bartender certification.Ability to work nights and weekends.Experience using POS system and/or similar software preferred.Valid State of Florida Driver License.
