SSI is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer for a role in Colorado Springs, CO. Role and Responsibilities: · Conduct and maintain Configuration Management of the program technical baseline.
· Provide Systems Engineering expertise across the entire lifecycle from concept development to operations.
· Provide technical oversight of development efforts (i.e., design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, production, and sustainment) whether they are traditional acquisition methods (e.g., waterfall, spiral, etc.) or agile/prototype.
· Utilizing Configuration Management tools to maintain and track changes to the program's technical baseline.
\n Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and fourteen (14) or more years of experience with the following:Managing technical baselinesProficient in a suite of configuration management toolsFamiliarity with MBSE tools and methodology for managing technical dataProficient in verification and validation of software tools and products Proficient in software licensing control and managementMust have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), be adjudicated for SCI eligibility, and be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.Travel is 10%. Desired Qualifications:Advanced degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.Experience within the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area.Experience working in a development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office.Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, INCOSE CSEP, ITEA CTEP, Agile PM/PO, etc.).
\nSSI has a target salary range: $175,000 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
