Northwest Aerospace Technologies ("NAT"), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers.
The Conformity Inspector contributes to the success of the Operations and Supply Chain Departments by facilitating the conformity and logistics efforts across the company to ensure projects and production are supported in the most effective manner. The Conformity Inspector must be FAA DMIR Certified.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for conformity inspections, inspections of parts, kits and test articles according to FAA/EASA regulations.
* Maintains the conformity schedule for parts, monuments, wiring and installations which integrates part availability, certification status and the program need dates.
* Facilitates organizational focus for engineering, certification and supply chain departments to effectively priorities work to support operational activity. 
* Identifies and recommends corrective actions to Supply Chain relating to part availability.
* Acts as principal liaison between the modification site and production facilities and Supply Chain on part/kit availability providing a weekly 60-day outlook.
* Participates in the daily program operations conference call.
Supports logistics activity across the company providing guidance on shipping and international shipping couriers and regulations.
* Maintains program SPI and CPI analysis.
* Analyzes data to develops and maintain appropriate group metrics.  
* Identifies and recommends to management areas of waste that should be addressed through improvement activities.
* Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.
* Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Summary of Education, Experience & Certification:
* FAA DMIR Certification
* 4-Year Technical Degree and at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Must possess FAA DMIR Certification
* Must possess broad technical knowledge and familiarity of aircraft, maintenance, interior completions, and FAA/EASA certification.
* Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
* Strong personnel management, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate. 
* Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of aircraft parts, assembly and installation.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
