Job Summary: Congenital Heart Surgeon-Clinical Associate:
Medical City Healthcare is seeking a congenital heart surgeon to join their Congenital Heart Center at Medical City Childrens Hospital in Dallas, TX.
Qualified Candidates: Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery and subspecialty certification/eligibility in congenital heart surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) or equivalent Must be eligible for Texas medical license Duties/Experience: Preoperative/postoperative evaluation of cardiac intensive care/stepdown unit patients Active participation with the intraoperative/technical aspects of complex surgical repairs with two experienced surgeons, including hybrid procedures, ECMO procedures and ACHD cases Participation in weekly Congenital Heart Center Surgical/Cath, ACHD, M&M conferences Involvement in clinical research projects and STS database efforts Opportunity to be involved at other HCA-affiliated facilities across the country Incentive/Benefits Package: Employed position, competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision Relocation assistance About Medical City Childrens Hospital: 225 bed pediatric hospital with the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas 108-bed Level IV NICU, regionalized care model with 9 Medical City Healthcare affiliated NICUs Medical City Childrens Congenital Heart Center consists of 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 1 hybrid suite, expansion to a 25-bed dedicated CICU/12 bed Stepdown Unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage, ICAEL-certified Echo Lab, cMRI, cardiac CT, and 3D printing programs?
