The Position The Board of Supervisors have authorized the following future salary increases: 5% on July 1, 2025

The Contra Costa Health Services Behavioral Health Division, in partnership with consumers, families, staff and community-based agencies, provides welcoming and integrated services for mental health, substance abuse, and other needs that promote wellness, recovery, and resiliency while respecting the complexity and diversity of the people we serve.


The Conservatorship & Guardianship Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Health Services Department's Conservatorship/Guardianship Program, which includes case management services, person and estate management services and liaison services with individual treatment programs for conservatorship clients.
They also oversee the Money Management Project, which provides rep-payee services for both conserved and non-conserved clients in the Behavioral Health system.

Minimum Qualifications License Required: 1) Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
Out of state valid motor vehicle operator's license will be accepted during the application process.


2) Possession of one of the following professional licenses.
Either:

a.
A valid license issued by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences as a:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); or b.
a valid license as a Psychologist issued by the State of California, Board of Psychology

Applicants are required to attach a copy of their license to their application. Experience: Two (2) years of full-time experience performing case management, estate and public conservatorship services for Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Conservatees and Probate Conservatees; and one (1) year of experience providing supervision of a Laterman-Petris-Short (LPS) conservatorship program.

The Human Resources Department may change the examination steps noted above in accordance with the Personnel Management Regulations and accepted selection practices.


CONVICTION HISTORY

DISASTER SERVICE WORKER

All Contra Costa County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law.
Employment with the County requires the affirmation of a loyalty oath to this effect.
Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker-related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
