This valued position is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and architectural and interior design drawings to ensure accurate bids and project wins.
You must be detail-oriented and proactive in following up with subcontractors and collaborating with Project Management teams on bids and budgets.
Your contributions will help the company achieve its next revenue goal and exceed investor expectations.
Compensation: Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Bonus potential Profit sharing Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, and matching 401k included Flexible work hours Responsibilities
•Collaborate with project managers, interior designers, and architects on detailed cost plans.
•Analyze specifications and drawings to create accurate cost estimates.
•Account for all costs, considering supply chain challenges and market trends.
•Work with vendors and subcontractors for competitive bids and procurement.
•Monitor project budgets and make necessary adjustments for profitability.
•Prepare financial reports and projections for management, highlighting cost-saving opportunities.
•Assist in developing cost estimation tools for efficiency.
•Guide project teams on budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
•Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients.
•Align cost plans with company goals and revenue targets.
Qualifications
•Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
•Proficient in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
•Analyze drawings, and specifications, and prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
•Maintain client relationships and pricing databases.
•Collaborate with architects and owners; lead preconstruction processes.
•Estimate prices on new projects and change orders.
•Strong math, and analytical skills, and a minimum 3 years on job sites.
•BS in Construction Management or related degree preferred.
•Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
