Ready to break into the construction and environmental services industries?
We are seeking entry-level candidates with an interest in the construction and environmental services industries to join our Texas team.
You will have the opportunity to perform on-site construction inspections for various land development projects.
What you will be doing: Perform on-site construction inspections ensuring work performed is in accordance with contract documents - travel is required to job sites on a regular basisEnsure projects meet compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local rules/regulations and client contract provisionsTrack progress to project scheduleInspect and monitor work progress on-siteMaintain Daily Job Diary documenting the type and location of work performed, each contractor's labor and equipment, and all pertinent details relative to the progress of the workProvide photographic documentation of the work in progress, including if/when unforeseen conditions, disputed work, or deficiencies in the work are encounteredEnsure that the construction contractor workforce is sufficient, and that work is being diligently executed in strict compliance with the contract documents Qualifications High school diploma (or equivalency) with 1 year completed in an Associate's degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldPrior professional construction/construction inspection experience preferredExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in EnglishAbility to read and understand construction plans and specificationsValid driver's license and ability/willingness to travel to field construction sites on a regular basis requiredAbility to work night shifts, if requiredOSHA 10 training certification (we will provide training if not already certified) Additional Information
