About the role

Bluewave is seeking an experienced, senior construction professional to be a traveling supervisor of contractors' field performance.
The position will report to the Head of the Execution team but be assigned to projects based on ongoing needs.


What you'll do Be responsible for reviewing CPM schedules and the planning of upcoming field activities with Project ManagersLiaise with contractor field personnel in the preparation and execution of field work, testing of work and documentation of planned, active and completed work.
Responsible for frequent visits to job sites, validation of contractors' periodic progress reports, review contractor's performance - productivity, quality, safety and reliabilityResponsible for knowing and understanding the contract and contractor obligations as it relates to scopes of work, schedule and demarcations of workPerform quality control inspections, generate reports, follow up on corrective actions Perform punch-list walks, generate punch-list reports and follow up on remediation and corrective actions Report on field observations using the firm's construction management platformEnsure the QA/QC procedures are followed, and any deviations are documented and correctedMeet periodically with project stakeholders - local code enforcement officials, contractors, etc.
to communicate project progressSupport the project managers and project engineers on their needs for successful project delivery on time and well documented Qualifications Must be a concise and efficient communicator - Ability to document and convey the salient points of interest amongst a large volume of information10+ years mix of education and experience in construction management of renewable energy projectsAbility to focus on job objectives for projects at hand in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentKnowledge of best practices in the construction industry and trades60-80% travel 3-4 days per week Benefits:
