As a Construction Manager, you will be playing a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish.
You will work closely with members of the Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, and Plant Operations departments from install through start of production.
This role will supervise all on-site construction including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day to day construction issues, performing day to day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule and budget.
* Develop project scopes for execution across Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, Process, Life Safety, Civil, and Architectural work
* Lead construction and startup systems, review designs for constructability, and quickly resolve technical barriers
* Monitor project costs and expenses, comparing actuals against the budget while also Identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives
* Track and review contractor invoices.
Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents.
Compare and track baseline from actual and report variances.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

* Must be experienced in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, and codes.
Be able to communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders from contractors, Design/Engineering, and QA/Commissioning teams
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* 5 years of experience in commercial construction, project management, or engineering
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
* Ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize project objectives
* Experience managing projects in large manufacturing or industrial environments
