Job summary
Support Navy mission at Naval ShipyardProvide technical services for construction projectsReview drawings, attend meetings, manage budgets and schedules
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Review contract drawings and specifications• Coordinate contractor meetings• Review and approve submittals• Monitor project budget and schedule• Review construction progress and quality control reports• Provide technical solutions to problems• Assist with Post Construction Award Services• Coordinate delivery and installation of equipment• Review and ensure compliance with safety requirements• Close out contracts and provide contractual correspondence
Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Construction Manager or similar role• Knowledge of construction operations and engineering principles• Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management• Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect is desirable• Experience with commercial/industrial or waterfront-related contracts
