The Construction Project Manager reports to the Program Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing new construction activities over a multi-family residential unit located in North Houston. This role requires strong attention to detail and complete confidentiality.
Essential Functions including but not limited to: Supervise the new construction of multi-family residential units from site development to vertical constructionMaintain aggressive schedules on a daily basisManage budgets for each project and generate progress reportsPromote and ensure job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediatelySupervise completion of punch listPerform quality control inspectionsRead and interpret engineered plansSchedule and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliersAssist with permit applications and inspectionsAssist Production Manager with any other related duties as assigned Education and Skill Requirements: Required minimum 5 years experience in multi-family residential constructionRequired experience with multi-family residential construction site development through to vertical constructionCollege education in Construction Management is preferred but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and softwareAbility to meet all assigned deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentialityFlexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directionsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment DSW offers a competitive compensation package with employer paid health insurance, paid time off and paid holidays.
