Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Description
This role involves owning, developing, and directing all activities vital to completing profitable, timely construction projects.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for writing subcontracts, creating owner billings, conceptualizing budgets, estimating project costs, managing project schedules, and overseeing budget management.
Responsibilities Write subcontracts for Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural (Drywall and Framing) subcontractors.Create invoices using any invoicing software to bill owners.Conceptualize budgets for projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million.Estimate project costs using Excel and work alongside the estimating team to process Change Orders and review their work.Manage project schedule in collaboration with the superintendent.Oversee budget management to ensure project profitability.Essential Skills Experience in conceptualizing and managing project budgets.Proficiency in writing subcontracts.Ground up project experience with budgets ranging from $5 million to $50 million.Project management experience.Skilled in estimation and blueprint reading.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Project.Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Construction Management or a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Structural Engineering, or equivalent field experience.3+ years of experience in construction project management.Experience with RFI, commercial construction, construction management, and change orders.Work Environment
The company is a medium-sized, non-union general contractor with a family feel, progressive, dynamic team environment.
The successful candidate will start on their first project partnered with a Project Manager who is in the middle of a current project.
