OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE Responsible for the scope, schedule, and budget for BioLife Plasma Center construction projects as well as renovations, remodels, and miscellaneous projects.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to concurrently manage and deliver multiple projects across the U.S. according to company growth objectives.Oversee supplier contracts to ensure adherence to agreements, specifications, and policies.SCOPE The Manager of Engineering Project Management reports to the Head of Engineering Project Management and also collaborates with Operations, New Center Development, EHS, Security, Quality, Legal, IT, Procurement, and Corporate Real Estate.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Plasma Center & Miscellaneous Construction Project Management (40%)Deliver assigned new Plasma Center locations and miscellaneous projects according to the defined scope, schedule, and budget.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers that are responsible for new Plasma Center development to ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance to company policies.Oversee construction engineering, planning, and design of new expansion projects.Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues.Identify, manage, and communicate risk to mitigate project delays and budget overspend.Comprehensive budget tracking, forecasting, and management of assigned expansion, remodel, and new build projects.Miscellaneous Project Management (20%)Oversee miscellaneous projects according to the defined scope, schedule, and budget.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance to company policies.Stakeholder Collaboration (40%)Collaborate with Operations, New Center Development, EHS, Security, Quality Legal, IT, Procurement, and Corporate Real Estate to deliver projects according to expectations.DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS Technical/Functional Expertise: Technical engineering skills to understand and coordinate work, terminology, methods, best practices, and innovation in order to optimize design and construction work.Project management expertise with ability to manage multiple projects across the U.S.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES, AND SKILLS: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or comparable and a minimum of 5 years of construction management and project management industry related experience.5 years of experience operating within at least two disciplines within the construction industry.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION U.S. travel - 60-75%-Required
Base Salary Range: $105,000 to $150,000. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits.
