Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to take charge of quality assurance at the Gowanus Canal superfund site. This full-time role requires your presence on-site and in the field office from 7 AM until 4/4:30 PM. Responsibilities include assessing information from geotechnical instrumentation to prepare daily and weekly reports, overseeing the operation of the water treatment system according to detailed specifications, handling RFIs and submittals, and conducting condition assessments before and after installations.
Hard Skills
+ Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
+ PE in NY
+ 10+ years experience in Quality Control role
+ 3+ years experience with geotechnical instrumentation, specifically vibration monitoring
+ NYC agency project experience (DOT, DEP, DDC)
Soft Skills
+ Detail-oriented
+ Strong report writing skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Client facing capabilities
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brooklyn.
