Construction Safety Manager - Per Diem Offered!

Seeking a Safety Manager with OSHA 500 for a long term opportunity in Reno, NV! $35 - $40/hr plus OT! $90/day per diem (for days worked) 

Current Schedule - M-F 10 hour days In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and implementing safety improvement initiatives, creating a safe work environment for all employees! Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulationsDevelop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environmentProvide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipmentInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actionsMaintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activitiesPrepare reports on safety performance and present findings to managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety improvement initiativesQualifications: Must hold OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 3+ years' recent experience in the construction environment where 100% of position's day-to-day job functions entailed safety, health, and/or environmental protection.Bilingual (english/spanish) is preferred!If you are passionate about promoting workplace safety and have the required qualifications, we would love to hear from you!
