Responsibilities
• Building, repairing, and maintaining Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) plant• Performing complex installations of cable in underground and/or overhead environments• Working with other technicians in the performance of their duties• Becoming a valuable member of the team through hard work and dedication
Requirements
• Construction work experience of two or more years• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record• Industry and vendor specific certifications and training• Technical skills for operating machinery and making cable connections• Knowledge of fiber architectures, Fiber Plant maintenance, basic mathematics and electronics, National Electrical Code and National Safety Code• Abilities such as using hand tools, weight-bearing equipment, and climbing poles• Ability to adhere to regulations and company policies• Ability to dig in all types of soil and drive company vehicle
