About the Job: As a Senior Consultant – Capital Markets Regulatory Initiatives, you will work alongside industry experts within FRC and our Capital Markets group in a fast-paced team setting. This role is based in New York at requires ability to work from client and/or Capco offices.
What You'll Get to Do: Deliver regulatory initiatives for the capital markets divisions of our banking clients; current examples include SEC rules for US treasury central clearing, securities lending transparency (SEC 10c-1), and securitization conflicts of interest (SEC 192)Work directly with client program sponsors to set the goals of the initiative as well as plans to ensure the program is successfulContribute to planning and development of regulatory projects; collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure successful completion within deadlinesDevelop and execute regular status reporting and adhoc senior management presentations for program sponsors, steering committees and working groupsProduce insights, analyses, and recommendations to provide strategic guidance, improve client performance, and drive deeper understanding of client issuesBuild new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across Capco's Finance, Risk, and Compliance practiceIdentify incremental sales opportunities while managing project deliveryDevelop thought leadership content, take a leadership role in proposal responses, and participate in client pitchesWhat You'll Bring with You: 5+ years of risk management and/regulatory experience within capital markets; experience working within financial services consulting preferredSolid understanding of financial markets and various capital markets products; specific experience with securitized products, securities lending, and/or US treasury trading/financing products preferredKnowledge of regulatory topics pertaining to capital markets, particularly SEC, CFTC, and FINRA rulesSelf-stater who can work under pressure, using your own initiative to meet deadlines and see tasks through to completionAble to operate independently and use sound judgement when in interacting with senior risk clientsExcellent communicator and influencer, ability to build relationships at all levels from a range of departments and business areasHighly organized, able to drive projects and simultaneously prioritize individual tasksAbility to drive completion of project deliverables that exceed client expectationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related fieldWhy Capco?
