Consultant/Engineer - Ev Charging & Smart Energy

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Support & lead consulting, engineering, and testing projects for clients in the electric mobility ecosystem (Charge Point Operator, Utilities, Platform provider, Hardware manufacturer, automotive OEMs) – exemplary tasks:Support clients in development or testing of new hardware componentsConduct Test Drives / Charging Tests with Electric VehiclesSoftware implementation support of new features/functionsSystem integrationMarket analysis & benchmarksBusiness model analysis & strategy consultingRollout Management of Charging InfrastructureData analytics & operational excellenceSolve new challenges from a technical and economic perspectiveSupport business development for new clients and new projects (including discussions with clients and individual solution development)Interact and work with the international EV Charging & Energy team at P3Work closely together with other P3 North America teamsEnhance P3 North America's EV Charging offeringsWork directly with our clients (onsite and/or remote)Project Management WHO YOU ARE: You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline (preferred electrical)You have 2+ years of work experience in the electric mobility ecosystem (preferred Chargepoint operator or Charging Hardware manufacturer)You are well familiar with the electric mobility landscape in the USA (Technologies, Software, Major Ecosystem players, etc) and you are on top of new developments and trendsYou have outstanding technical knowledge of charging technologies and are well familiar with protocols and standards (OCPP, PKI, ISO 15118, DIN, OCPI, …)A good understanding of US Energy markets & principals and applicable standards/codes (NEC, Metering law, Building Code, ..) is a plusYou have a project management mind-set to lead client projectsYou show strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills to help drive solutionsYou have excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishYou are self-motivated and driven with entrepreneurial spiritYou are willing to travelYou are legally authorized to work in the US GOOD TO KNOW: We offer a competitive salary with bonus potential.You get up to 20 days PTO and 10 paid company holidays.You can get healthcare, life insurance, dental & vision, 401(k) matching.We offer mentorship and onboarding programs and a flat hierarchy.We offer national and international travel opportunities.You have career opportunities in a fast-growing company and work in small, efficient project teams.
