Summary: In this role, you will drive all aspects of the development of Service Line Intelligence products, publications, and solutions for Sg2's clients, including healthcare strategy and clinical leaders from hospitals, health systems, and the healthcare industry. You will leverage your understanding of current and future healthcare trends, emerging clinical developments, and market forces to shape the future of strategy and analytical insights for service line leaders and healthcare executives by translating these into strategic business recommendations and frameworks. You will engage in multiple areas of our business, including developing industry-leading thought leadership, supporting the use and development of Sg2 analytic tools including the Impact of Change Forecast, and acting as an advisor for our providers in their service line strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities: Act as subject matter expert with solid knowledge of healthcare trends and the changing landscape of service line services to help providers make sound strategic decisions and craft strategic plans for topics including behavioral health. Develop thought leadership deliverables including expert posts, briefings, publications, presentations, webinars, and podcasts. Work with Sg2's service team to address individual provider's pain points and questions related to their behavioral health and other service line strategy via expert onsite and virtual presentations, expert insight delivered through calls or written responses, meeting facilitation, and analytic insights. Translate behavioral health service line knowledge and healthcare trends to inform the annual update to Sg2's analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model 10-year utilization projections. Perform detailed analysis of historical trends from Sg2/Vizient proprietary databases to inform the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model and other integrated analytics. Integrate behavioral health perspectives into frameworks and recommendations that impact broader hospital and healthcare strategy. Lead, influence, and collaborate with peers across the organization on multiple projects. Present at and participate in Sg2/Vizient events, affinity group meetings, and cross-business unit meetings. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in clinical services, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, health administration, or business administration strongly preferred. 7 or more years of related experience in a hospital health system, consulting firm, or healthcare-related company with a focus on behavioral health, pediatrics, primary care, health equity, or related clinical area required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to synthesize research and interviews into healthcare strategy recommendations, frameworks, and project proposals required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite including ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks is required; experience with MS Power BI preferred. Creativity, curiosity, drive, initiative, resourcefulness, and an entrepreneurial spirit are required. Experience with behavioral health clinical operations, data analytics, and quality improvement are a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple stakeholders is required. Well-developed people and client relationship skills. Willingness to travel. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
