We are seeking a Consumer Bankruptcy Paralegal to play a key role in supporting the legal team. \n What You'll DoAssist attorneys in client intake and the preparation of bankruptcy filings, including petitions, schedules, and statements.                  Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support cases.             Organize and manage case files using Document Management Systems.           Prepare legal documents and correspondence as needed.      Maintain accurate records of case progress and deadlines through effective case management skills.            Communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel regarding case issues.        Support litigation matters by preparing necessary documents and evidence for court proceedings.             Collaborate with team members on project management tasks related to bankruptcy cases.       Assist in billing clients.           Undertake general administrative tasks in the office as needed.     What You NeedMinimum of 4 years of experience in bankruptcy law.         Proven experience as a paralegal in bankruptcy and related fields.             Strong understanding of Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 (including Subchapter V) bankruptcy procedures.          Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.          Proficient in using Document Management Systems and other legal software tools.           Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.          Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.        Knowledge of litigation processes is beneficial.         Salary & BenefitsLocation: Los Angeles, CA.           On-Site            Salary: $70,000 - $85,000            This is a full-time, long-term position.              Monday through Friday             Flexible hybrid work environment (in-person and remote).               Health insurance            Paid time off and holidays.                  Professional development opportunities.
