The purpose of this job is to oversee, manage, and support the CDP staff in the preparation and quality control review of complex (including real estate) loan, security, and compliance documents and related correspondence for accuracy and completeness to ensure perfection and consistency in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and Trustmark policies and procedures. Perform review of flood documentation prior to loan preparation. This job equitably and uniformly distributes loans to be prepared and communicates with lending, compliance and legal personnel to obtain any additional information required for loan preparation.
Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to strategic organizational goals Coordinate/distribute workflow and provide direction, support, and assistance to assigned team members in examining applications and other source documents, in determining compliant closing dates and in preparing and reviewing loan, security, and compliance documents Review flood documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to distributing loans to be prepared Assist lending personnel with issues and questions on loan, security and compliance documentation, operational loan structure, policies, and procedures. Consult with Compliance and Legal Departments when necessary Review processes and write, review and update procedures to ensure efficiency of supervised personnel Review (prior to closing) CDP prepared Modification Agreements and supporting documents and loans of $1,000,000.00 or more or designate appropriate personnel to perform review Direct activities of supervised personnel, including scheduling, hiring, training, managing, counseling, and evaluating staff Perform additional duties as assigned.
