The Senior Analyst, Consumer Restitution Management, drives consumer restitution for complex operational and compliance issues in the highly regulated financial industry.
The Senior Analyst focuses on issues that are deemed regulatory with all levels of criticality ratings.
The scope of ownership and responsibility include: research, communication, remediation and resolution of single and multi-client issues initiated by the Client, Account Teams and other internal partner/sources.
As a project manager, influences and leads issues driving the overall restitution strategy and resolution.
The Senior Analyst, Consumer Restitution Management is accountable for communication and interactions with first, second and third lines of defense on issue resolution.
Based on the elevated stakeholders and audience, the Senior Analyst utilizes operational acumen, influence and command skills as well as strong situational awareness.


Essential Job Functions: Project Management: Has ownership of book of business determined by Client impact by acting as the project manager to drive the restitution to successful closure so validation requirements are met.
Partners with Sr.
Manager on decisions, influencing partners and management of Client issues including: file errors, system break issues, technology testing, research, remediation and communication directly with Client.
Uses strategic acumen to make recommendations for restitutions and manages through the execution and implementation.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently, remain organized, and prioritize work in order to work on multiple projects over the same time period with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strategy: Makes recommendations for decisions related to profit/loss of a business unit or issue specific to effective outcomes of financial remediation where best course of action is derived to make customers whole while considering best solution for the business.
Evaluates the financial impact to the business while balancing this with adherence to regulatory guidelines and seeking consultation with legal and compliance.
Takes initiative to identify opportunities and problem solve.
Utilizes critical thinking skills to help analyze business issues, collaborates with stakeholders to resolve problems, and gains consensus on the best solution.
Issue Management:- Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to propose positive solutions to complex problems by thinking holistically through the remediation lifecycle.
Responsible for detailed understanding the "why" behind daily tasks and has a general understanding of "why" on somewhat complex remediation.
Collaboration: Participates in team sessions designed to identify duplicate issues, reoccurrence and general repetitive trends.
Collaborates with leads and managers to understand patterns and leads solutions to fit needs.
Prioritizes efforts on critical initiatives.
Participates in creating proactive solutions based on historical trends.
Understands patterns and leads solutions to fit needs.
Continually develops knowledge of the organization to complete tasks.
Demonstrates outstanding Verbal and Written Communication skills when working with internal and external partners.
Data Analysis: Candidate will have strong analytical background, with an expert Microsoft excel background.
Able to digest and analyze large amounts of data using SAS output files.
Two or more years with a basic understanding of data extraction and manipulation using an ETL tool such as SAS, or other similar programming languages.
Reports to: Manager or Senior Manager, Consumer Restitution Management Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment, Travel as required to support projects.
This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month.
In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs.
This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; Plano, TX; Draper, UT; Wilmington, DE or New York, NY.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED One or more years experience in Business, Organizational Management, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Operations Management, or related field Preferred Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Management, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Operations Management, or related field Regulatory compliance training (UDAAP, REGZ, FCRA, ECOA) and root cause analysis training Three or more years experience with Consumer restitution of regulatory issues Two or more years with a basic understanding of data extraction and manipulation using an ETL tool such as SAS, or other similar programming languages Other Duties

Typical Starting Range:
$69,900.00 - $126,600.00

Full Salary Range for position:
California: $80,400.00 - $158,300.00

Colorado: $69,900.00 - $133,000.00

New York: $76,900.00 - $158,300.00

Washington: $73,400.00 - $145,600.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.


Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26.
New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period).
Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period.
Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.


All associates receive 11 paid holidays.
Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off.
Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.


Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
