Job Description:

Valero Energy is seeking a Contact Center Associate to join our team in a remote work capacity in San Jose, California. As a Contact Center Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support via phone, email, and chat channels. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.2. Provide product information, resolve customer complaints, and address any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.4. Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved.5. Conduct research on products and services to provide accurate information to customers.6. Maintain customer records and update databases with relevant information.7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve overall customer experience.8. Meet and exceed performance goals related to call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:1. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or contact center role.2. Reliable and hardworking individual with strong interpersonal skills.3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.4. Ability to research and problem-solve effectively.5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.6. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
