Responsibilities: 1) Service Deliver service to both internal and external members that are in alignment with the credit union's Service Promises.Meets all established sales and service goal.
Possess adequate product knowledge as measured by the annual product knowledge certification assessment2) Member Service Explain and recommend credit union products and servicesProvide general account informationProvide information on new and on-going promotionsAddress and resolve member problems and complaints3) Execution of Departmental Programs, Policies, and Procedures Record research requests and deliver to appropriate personnelExplain the procedure to initiate payroll requests, and ensure all forms are mailed to appropriate destinationAssess field of membership qualifications and provide accurate informationMeet daily/monthly departmental productivity standards 4) Financial Obligations Possess knowledge of PAM (the audio response system), and assist members with the usagePossess strong knowledge of MY247 online banking and assist members with the registration and usagePossess knowledge of bill pay and assist members with the set up and usageFacilitate wire transfer requestsProcess check ordersProvide loan payoff informationSet-up auto share transfers, loan transfers and off-cycle transfers per member requestsProvide rate information on deposits and loans5) Process Financial Transactions Post loan paymentsProcess phone transfer requests between share accounts, loan accounts and cross-member accountsProcess check withdrawalsProcess loan advance requests6) Other Adhere to other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3-years member service (customer service) experience - preferably in a Financial Institution setting but not required Meet monthly sales goalsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work well under pressure and multitaskEnjoy problem solving and interaction with membersExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong phone etiquette, pleasant voice and demeanor Must be able to sit for long periods of timeType 20-30 words per minuteTeam orientedHACU is an Equal Opportunity Employer This position is onsite Job Posted by ApplicantPro
