Content Developer

Details of the offer

We are looking for a content developer to create Python developer-focused content for Cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Develop Python developer-focused content, articles, tutorials, code samples, and end-to-end solutions that use Cloud services.
Collaborate with content, PM, and engineering partners to identify and document high priority content, continually improve the content, and drive great, real-world cloud solutions.
Create new articles and update existing articles to reflect the latest features and functionality, in support of the top scenarios.
This includes quickstarts, tutorials, how-to articles, and code samples.
Our focus will be on delivering content to help developers and customers who are building production grade applications and workloads.
Author the documentation and test/validate the samples and configurations that will be published to customers.
Respond to reviewer feedback and incorporate feedback as needed.
Deliver documentation according to specifications and priorities provided by the content team.
Use content team tools, process, and authoring and publishing guidelines to deliver high quality documentation.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of technical writing experience and/or experience creating technical documentation for a developer audience.
Self-starter who works well independently and with others.
Strong written and verbal English skills.
Experience with Python and building Python web apps.
Knowledge of other programming languages will be helpful.
Experience with Azure or another cloud provider.
Skilled at organizing and prioritizing your workload.
Experience or familiarity with markdown and GitHub.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Communications, or related field.
Preferred:
Experience with development on Linux and using Bash.
Experience with Python web development on Azure and knowledge of Python web API frameworks including Django, Flask, Fast API and Django REST Framework.
Experience with application deployment scenarios using containers.
Knowledge of one or more of the following data-related scenarios:
Data modeling and data warehousing.
Accessing data from PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Data storage technologies including Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure CosmosDB.
Some knowledge or experience with Go would be a plus.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $68 to $72 an hour.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
